2/3 C Seasoned Bread Crumbs
6 Tbs melted butter
1/2 C crushed Walnuts (optional)
2 cans Crescent Rolls

Filling:
4 Tbs melted Butter
2/3 C drained Mushrooms
6 boneless Chicken Breasts cooked and diced
1/2 tsp Pepper
2 stalks Celery, chopped
1/2 small onion, minced
1 8 oz pkg Cream Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Separate crescent rolls; roll each to make 1/4" thick. Over medium heat, saute onions and celery in butter. Add cream cheese, mushrooms, chicken, and pepper. Mix together and remove from heat. Fill each crescent roll with 1/2 C meat filling.Roll up and tuck ends in and dip into melted butter. Then roll in bread crumbs and walnuts. Put on cookie sheet and bake 375º for 20 minutes.

For Gravy, heat 1 C Chicken Broth and 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup and thicken slightly.

These were served at my surprise 30th birthday and have been a family favorite ever since! You can also use leftover turkey. The recipe came from a legislative cookbook of Hazel Steen's. They freeze well or they also make great leftovers.
