1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. water
4 T. sugar
2 T. prepared mustard
1/2 t. pepper
3 t. salt
1/8 t. cayenne
1 small lemon sliced
1 medium onion sliced

Directions:

Bring above ingredients to a boil and add:
2 T. worchestershire
1 c. ketchup
1 stick butter
Continue to simmer until desired thickness is reached and middle of lemon separates from peel.

Ken has used this recipe for over 40 years and we have lost it more times than I can tell you but have been able to get it back from folks who had requested the recipe from him. Everytime our friend who lives in Texas cooks out he calls us for the recipe. He can't seem to keep it handy either.
