Ingredients:  
Place 5 or 6 cups of sliced apples in the bottom of pan.

1 cup flour
1/2 to 1 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 unbeaten egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well with fork and put on apples. Pour over all 1/3 cup melted shortening and sprinkle with 1/2 tsp. cinnamon.
Bake 350 for 30 to 40 minutes
