1/4 cup molasses
3/4 cup Crisco shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Yield: 3 dozen
Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Mix all ingredients together. Dough will be stiff. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Roll balls in granulated sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Using fingers press balls down slightly. Bake in 350º oven for 12-14 minutes.
