5-6 Yams peeled, cooked, and mashed.
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs well beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup butter

Topping
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (Put on last)
1/3 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together, except topping, and pour into 9x13 dish. Make topping in a small pan and cook over heat until topping is a melted and mixed together. Spread over yam casserole. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
