1 1/4 c. unbleached white flour
3/4 c. whole grain corn meal
4 Tbs. sugar
5 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. milk
2 Tbs. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Sift all the dry ingredients. Beat the egg and the milk and add it
to the flour mixture along with the melted butter. Stir
everything up well.

Spread the batter in a buttered 9 inch pie dish and bake in a
preheated 375º oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until it is
lightly browned around the edges.

Serve hot with butter.
