1 1/4 lb real butter
2 cups dark brown sugar
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
6 cups flour
1/1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp soda
4 cups real chocolate chips
2 cups chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs and beat 5-5 minutes. Add vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and add all at once to creamed mixture. Mix. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Line cookie sheet with fresh waxed paper. Let set on pan 5 minutes before removing. These freeze well. You may make with margarine but richness will decrease. Remember to eat or give away within a day or two as the butter in them causes them to spoil, unless frozen or refrigerated.
