1 14oz package caramels
2/3 cup evaporated milk, divided
1 German chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup oleo, melted (butter or margarine)
1 cup nuts
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramel and 1/3 cup milk in double boiler or microwave. Mix cake mix with 1/3 cup milk, oleo and nuts. Press 1/2 cake mixture in 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Spread on melted caramels. Drop on remaining cake mix mixture. Bake 20-25 minutes. Cut when cool.
