4 c (16 oz) elbow macaroni (uncooked)
1/2 c butter
1/2 c flour
salt and pepper to taste
5 c milk
4 c (16 oz) shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta according to directions. Drain. Melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Gradually stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly until it thickens, and begins to boil. Add cheese. Stir until melted. Mix with pasta. Bake in 3 qt. casserole for 30 min. at 350.
