2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp Karo syrup
3/4 cup nuts. divided
2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first five ingredients in a heavy pan. Cook to light crack, 285º, on a candy thermometer. Add 1/2 cup nuts. Pour into well greased cookie sheet. Cool slightly. Put 2 cups chocolate chips on top. Spread as they melt. Top with ground nuts. Break into pieces when completely cool.
