1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
2 oz chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º.

In medium bowl, beat butter and powdered sugar. Beat in vanilla. Beat in flour and salt until mixture is crumbly. Stir in 1/2 cup nuts.

Shape dough into walnut-sized balls; roll each into a 3 x 3/4 inch log. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake 9-12 minutes. Immediately remove from sheets. Cool completely, about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, in microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate on high 30 second; stir.

Place cooled cookies on sheet of waxed paper. Drizzle chocolate over cookies; sprinkle with remaining 1/4 nuts.
