1 - 9 in. pie shell, baked and cooled
enough peeled and sliced tomatoes to fill the pie shell
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. dried basil or 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
1 tbsp chopped chives, optional
12 slices of bacon, fried and crumbled
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350. Fill pie shell with tomatoes, sprinkle with salt and pepper, basil, chives, and bacon. Mix mayonnaise and cheese. Spread over tomatoes. Bake for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
