2 large bunches of broccoli separate into small flowerettes
1 head of cauliflower cut into small flowerettes
10 slices of crisp bacon broken into small pieces
1 c. craisins or raisins
3 green onions finely sliced
1/4 c. sunflower seeds or toasted sliced almonds
1 c. mayo
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbls. cider vinegar

Directions:

Peel tough stems and chop into small pieces. Combine broccoli, cauliflower, bacon, craisins, and onions.

Mix mayo, sugar, and vinegar together pour over the vegetables and toss. Chill for at least 2 hours. Toss before serving.

This is a favorite and will keep for several days. This is a very versatile salad and has many variations. I've added fresh grapes, seasoned almonds and grilled Cajun chicken for a main course.
