Lemon Meringue Pie Recipe

Lemon Filling:

2 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
3 T. flour
3 egg yokes only
2 T. butter
juice of 2 lemons
tsp. salt


3 egg whites
6 T. sugar
tsp. vanilla
tsp. cream tauter

Combine the Lemon filling ingredients and cook on top of stove until thick. Beat on high and add one tablespoon of sugar at a time. Beat till the egg whites form stiff peaks. Pour the lemon filling in a prebaked 9 pie shell, cover with the stiff egg whites and brown egg whites in oven for 10 minutes. 425
