1 lb. loaf of white sandwich bread
8 oz. cream cheese
12 large eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. pure maple syrup

Directions:

Grease 13x9 baking pan. Cut 1 Lb. Loaf of firm white sandwich bread (day old) into cubes. Spread ½ of bread in 13x9 pan. Cut Cream cheese into small cubes and sprinkle ½ over bread. Repeat layering, bread, and cheese. Whisk in large bowl eggs, milk, and pure maple syrup. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 350º; bake uncovered 30-40 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 15 minutes. Serve warm with a little maple syrup.
