2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening or butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. ripe mashed banana (3 bananas)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400º. Blend dry ingredients. Add eggs, butter, vanilla and bananas. Mix well. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.
