Ingredients: 2 to 3 Round Steaks - Tenderized By Butcher 2 to 3 Onions Flour 1 Beef Bouillon Cube Salt, Pepper and Garlic Salt to Taste

Directions:Dredge meat in flour and pound flour into meat with mallet or flat object. Season meat and brown separately in a Dutch Oven over medium heat. Don't cook flour off of meat, just sear outside.
Dissolve bouillon cube in a cup of boiling water and deglaze brown bits in the bottom of the Dutch Oven with the liquid.
Layer meat and lot's of onions in Dutch Oven starting with the meat on the bottom. Bring liquid just half way up of first layer of meat.
Bring to a simmer on the stove top before putting in the oven.
Cook at 325º for 1 1/2 hours or until fork tender.
Check periodically to see if mixture is dry and if need be add more water to make gravy. |
