2 1/2 lb. cut up Chicken or Chicken Breasts
1/2 C. Flour
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. ground Black Pepper
1 tsp. Paprika
1/4 C. solid Shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika together in a 1 gallon zip-lock style bag. Shake chicken pieces, one at a time, in plastic bag; coating pieces with flour mixture.
Heat shortening in 9x13 baking pan, in a 425º oven until melted. Place coated chicken pieces, skin side down in pan. Bake, uncovered for 30 minutes. Turn chicken over and return to oven for an additional 30 minutes.
