1 lb of lean ground beef
1/4 cup of ketchup
1 cup of water
Splash of Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet form 4 burgers like small individual meatloaves. Let the loaves brown in the skillet. Pour in water and mix with the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Let the loaves cook to your liking. You can always add more ketchup and water. When cooked, thicken gravy and serve with egg noodles and a green salad.

Old Nanny would make this meal quite often when she would come to our home in Water Mill. My sister and I would gobble up the little hamburger loaves in no time. This is a great meal for kids and for those cold, damp fall evenings on the East End of Long Island.
