3 cups of flour
3 tbsp of sugar
3 tbsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1/ 2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of raisins
1/2 cup of caraway seeds
2 tbsp on butter
2 cups of buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the oven to 375º. Grease the pan. With a wooden spoon, mix all the dry ingredients together. Add the eggs. Cut the butter into the batter, and add the buttermilk. Work the dough with your hands and make a small mound. Put a "x " in the middle of the loaf. Bake for 50 minutes or so. It is done when you tap the middle and the loaf sounds hollow.

I do not use 1/2 cup of caraway seeds. I only use 1/4 cup. I found this to be enough.
