6-8 Long Island potatoes
1 stick of butter
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1/2 cup of cheddar cheese
1/2 cup of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and quarter the potatoes. Place in to a pot of boiling water. Boil until soft and tender with a fork. Drain the water and add all of the ingredients in order. Mash with a handmasher. The potatoes will come out smooth. Serve in a bowl with butter on top for decoration.
