1 1/2 C. Sugar
1/2 C. Shortening
2 Eggs
Dash Salt
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 C. Flour
1/2 C. Sour Milk (take 1/2 Tbsp. Vinegar and add enough Milk to equal 1/2 C.)
1 C. mashed Bananas (2-3 medium)
1/2 C. chopped Nuts
6 oz. mini-Chocolate Chips (optional)

Directions:

Cream sugar and shortening together. Add remaining ingredients and blend with an electric mixer.
Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
