3-½ c. Quaker Oats
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts (i.e. dry roasted peanuts, honey roasted peanuts, pecans, almonds)
2/3 c. butter melted
1 c. honey
1 egg beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp salt (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Toast oats in oven at 350º for 15-20 minutes. Combine toasted oats with remaining ingredients and mix well. Press firmly into a well greased jelly roll pan or line a pan with foil and use cooking spray. Preheat and bake at 350º for 25-30 min. Cool for five minutes and start to break up the granola.

Extras to add AFTER baking: peanut butter chips, chocolate chips or yogurt-covered cranberries.
