3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/4 t. baking powder
1 1/3 c coconut
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 t. vanilla
1 (12 oz) jar apricot preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar add egg and mix well. In seperate bowl combine flour and baking powder. Add to butter mixture. Add coconut, walnuts and vanilla. Mix thoughly. Press 2/3 of dough into 9 x 13 pan. Spread with preserves, crumble remaining dough over preserves. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes
