2 15 oz cans pure pumpkin
2 cups water
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
1 cup half and half
1 minced garlic clove
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
4 tbsp butter
pinch of cinnamon and ground ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Bring the first 5 ingredients to a simmer in a large saucepan over medium high heat, whisking often. Whisk in the maple syrup, and 2 tbsp of the butter. Add the spices and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the remaining butter and stir gently. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and a bit of parsley
