3/4 large head cabbage, shredded
3/4 large carrots, shredded
1/2 cup and 2 teaspoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 cup and 1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon and 1/4 teaspoon white vinegar
1-1/2 teaspoons celery seed
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

In a large bowl, combine the cabbage and carrots. In another bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir into the cabbage mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Toss before serving.
