3/4 c. Cornmeal
3/4 c. Cold Water
2 1/2 c. Boiling Water
3/4 tsp. Salt
2 tbsp. Margarine or Butter
Flour
Maple Syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cornmeal and cold water in saucepan. Stir in boiling water and salt. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils; reduce heat.

Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Spread in greased loaf pan, 9" X 5" X 3". Cover and refrigerate until firm, at least twelve (12) hours but no longer than two (2) weeks.

Invert pan to remove from loaf pan; cut loaf in to 1/2" slices. Heat margarine or butter in 10" skillet until melted. Coat slices with flour and cook in margarine or butter over low heat until brown on both sides.

Serve hot with Maple Syrup.
