2 lb. mild sausage
Cooking oil
4-5 green onions with tops
1 large piece of celery with leaves, chopped
4 1/2 c. water
2 pkg. dry chicken noodle soup mix
1 pkg. (6 oz.) wild, herb or brown rice
2 small cans water chestnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Fry sausage to crumble. Drain off fat. Use a small amount of oil and sauté onions and tops. Add celery, water, soup mix, rice, and chestnuts. Simmer 15 minutes. Combine with sausage. Bake covered in 9 x 13 inch pan for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
