1 c butter
2 c sugar
2 eggs
1 c cold mashed potatoes
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1/4 c baking cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1 c milk
1 c nuts
Directions:
Directions:
in mixing bowl cream butter and sugar until fluffy
add eggs one at a time beating well after after each addition.
blend in potatoes & vanilla
combine flour, cocoa & baking soda, add alternating with milk, blending well after each addition. stir in nuts. pour into a greased 13" x 9" x 2" baking pan. bake at 350º for 40-45 minutes or until cake tests done. cool on a wire rack.
