3 each large granny smith and cortland or mcintosh apples (3 lb total),peeled cored and sliced
3/4 cup each packed brown sugar and flour
3/4 cupped tart dried cherries
1/2 cup apple cider or juice
3/4 stick of butter
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. heat oven to 350º. have ready a shallow to court baking dish
2. mix apples 2 tbs brown sugar 1 tbs flour and cherries in large bowl. put in baking dish. pour cider over apple mixture
3. in same bowl combine remaining brown sugar and flour. the butter and cinnamon until well blended. mix until crumbley spead evenly over the apples.
4. bake 50 - 55 min or until top is brown and apples are tender.
