cup butter soft
1/3 cup almond paste
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
3 Tbls. milk
1 tsp. almond extract
3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
tsp. salt
food coloring
sugar crystals (corse)

Directions:
Directions:
mix butter & paste. Beat until smooth on medium speed. Add sugar, egg, milk and extract. Beat until blended. Add flour, powder and salt. Bet on low until soft. Divide into 3rds. Cover 2/3 with plastic. Add color to 1/3, cover with plastic and chill for 2-3 hours unitl moldable. Roll to inch. Cut out white dough circles and colored dough with cookie cutters. Layer colored shape on white circle and sprinkle with corse sugar crystals. Bake 5-7 minutes at 400 or until brown.
