Lemon Bars Recipe

Crust:
1 1/2 stick butter
1/3 C powdered sugar
1-1/2 C flour


Topping:
1 1/2 C sugar
1/4 C flour
3 eggs
5 Tbsp lemon juice
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
For crust, melt butter and pour into a large mixing bowl. Add sugar and flour. Pat into a 9x13 pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350.

To make topping, combine sugar, flour, eggs and lemon juice. Pour over baked crust. Return to 350 oven for 15 minutes.

Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top of the hot cookies. Cool and cut into squares.

When done, the crust will be slightly browned around the edge and just starting to brown on top. When done, cookies will have slightly dry pock-marked look on top but not yet browning.
