Personal Notes:
This is a traditional recipe carried in a lunch pail by Grandpa Haire into the Bingham copper mine. It's John Lee's favorite meal. I make two at a time when he comes home from college.

Ann made LOTS of these when we gathered at Westfork on St. Patrick's Day, March 2008. The main oven and portable oven in the basement were needed to cook them all. During Mom's move that summer, we were packing the basement, opened the portable oven, and surprise -- a pasty! ~MW

A favorite in our house! ~John
