With self rising flour
1 cup flour
2 tbsp shortening
1/3 cup milk

With all purpose flour
2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup milk

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients
Cut in shortening
Add liquid

Roll out and cut or drop by spoonful on baking sheet
Bake at 450º for 10 minutes
