Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I made Apple Crystals at Christmas and put them on plates that were given to friends. Deliveries were taken all over town (a dozen or more plates). The recipe was originally from Leah Brenton who brought a box over when Margaret was born on Dec 5, 1956. To make these treats, they were dried on stacks of cardboard covered in foil with square toy blocks between them. The stack sat on the counter during the holiday season.

Many years of waiting for them to be perfect...tough to do when you were young. ~John
