1 lb ground beef
1 C onion
1 C celery
1 C carrots
2 C potatoes
4-5 C water
Pinch of basil
1-2 bay leaves
2-3 bouillon cubes
Salt and pepper to taste
32 oz can tomatoes

Cook beef and onions until beef is cooked through. Boil vegetables together.

Mix beef, onions, vegetables, spices and water together; bring to a boil, then let simmer for 20 minutes.

Add 32 oz can of tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
