2 Lbs. sweet potatoes, peeled
1/2 C lightly salted butter at room temperature
2 TBS. light brown sugar
2 scallions, trimmed and sliced
14 tsp. ground sinnamon
1/4 C chopped toasted pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In large saucepot over high heat, bring sweet potatoes and enough salted water to cover to a boil

Reduce heat to medium, Cook covered 20 min. or unti sweet potatoes are fork tender, Drain

Return potatoes to saucepot. Mash potato mixture until smooth. Stir in butter, brown sugar, scallions, cinnamon and shopped pecans. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
