1-lb. pkg. powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. butter, softened
2-1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 c. evaporated milk
12-oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 Tbsp. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Combine powdered sugar, butter, peppermint and vanilla extracts. Add evaporated milk, mixing well. Roll into one-inch balls and place on wax paper-lined baking sheet; chill 30 minutes. Flatten each round to 1/4-inch thickness with the bottom of a smooth glass; chill 45 minutes. In microwave, melt chocolate chips and shortening, stirring often. Working quickly, dip patties into chocolate, place back on wax paper and chill until chocolate hardens.
