1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
6 potatoes, peeled, cubed
4 carrots, peeled, sliced
1 to 2 cups celery, leaves and all thinly sliced
1 small onion, chopped
1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes
water to cover
4 cubed beef bouillon
garlic powder, to taste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1 bay leaf
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions:
Brown and drain ground beef. Put all ingredients in large saucepan and bring to a full boil, boil covered until potatoes and carrots are tender, stir occasionally while cooking.
