2 - 1lb.cans (or 3 if not tightly packed, or 3 jars) sauerkraut, rinsed
1 medium onion, cut in 1/4ths
1 rounded Tbsp. flour
1 apple, peeled and sliced
1 potato, grated
1/4 cup cold water
18 dried juniper berries, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Add ingredients except for flour and water. Simmer, covered, about 1 hour. Mix flour and water, add. Simmer about 5 minutes.
