3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1.25 c. sugar
1 c. butter (room temp)
3 eggs

Cream eggs, sugar and butter.
Add vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients and add to the rest.
Refrigerate to chill.
Take out a handful at a time, roll on a lightly floured surface to
desired thickness (they'll puff when cooking). Cut into shapes.
Bake at 350 degrees...about 6 minutes (until light brown) [I'm
guessing here...it isn't in the recipe]
Cool and frost with powdered sugar frosting, dyed with
various colors and add sprinkles.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Christmas isn't Christmas without these cut outs! Grandma Helen used to visit with them ready to frost.
