1 chicken or 1 qt. canned chicken
1/2 qt. broth
2 c. corn
2 c. butter beans or lima beans
2 c. tomato juice
1 c. onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. diced peppers
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 c. brown sugar or 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. ketchup
2 tsp. chili powder
3 bay leaves
1/2 c. bar-b-que sauce

Mix all ingredients together and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
