1 lb Jimmy Dean sausage
1/2 stick of salted butter
1 cup diced sweet onion
1 cup diced celery
1 (16 oz) bag of flavored Pepperidge Farm stuffing
4 cups homemade or canned chicken broth, or more as needed
1 Granny Smith apple, sliced
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 eggs beaten
1/2 C dried cherries or dried cranberries
1/2 C pecans

Directions:
Brown sausage; pour off any grease. Add butter to pan and saute the onion, celery until tender. Mix all ingredients together and bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour, covered, and then for an additional 1/2 hour, uncovered.
