1 c brown sugar 1/2 c butter 2 tblsp. corn syrup 2 tart apples- peeled & sliced 5 eggs 1 1/2 c milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 loaf French bread
Cook butter, sugar, corn syrup, until syrupy & pour into 13x9 baking dish Spread with apple slices Slice bread in 3/4 inch pieces & place bread over apples Whisk remaining ingredients & pour over bread Cover and refrigerate overnight Bake uncovered 40 min. at 350 degrees Flip over when serving
