Pastry for 9-inch Pie
¼ lb. Butter
3 ozs. Unsweetened Chocolate
3 Eggs
3 Tbsp. Light Corn Syrup
1 ½ Cups Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Vanilla Ice Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Line 9-inch pie pan with pastry. Combine butter and chocolate in a saucepan. Heat gently, stirring often, until melted and blended. Beat eggs until light and frothy. Stir in corn syrup, sugar and vanilla. Pour in chocolate mixture. Stir to combine. Pour filling into pie pastry. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until top is slightly crunchy and the filling is set. Do not over cook. The filling should be soft inside. Best served warm with a spoonful of vanilla ice cream.
