1 c. unsalted butter - no substitutes
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. chopped pecans (see variations)
24 graham cracker squares

Variations:
walnuts
coconut
marshmallows
chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.

2. Line 10 x 15 cookie sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease the foil, or use a teflon cookie sheet.

3. Place graham crackers on the cookie sheet in one layer - 24 crackers should fit exactly.

4. Sprinkle pecans evenly over the top and set aside.

5. Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add brown sugar, stiring until until mixture boils. Boil for 1 minute.

6. Pour mixture evenly over graham crackers and pecans. Bake for 10 minutes.

7. Remove from oven and IMMEDIATELY place the hot cookie sheet in the freezer. Remove the pan after 1 hour and break the bark into pieces.
