1 - 2 pkgs. mixed greens
3/4 c. craisins
1 c. slivered sugared almonds (see below)
1/2 c. red onion, minced

Dressing
1 1/2 c. oil (I use canola)
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. red onion, minced
1 1/2 T. poppy seeds
3/4 c. red wine vinegar
3/4 tsp. dry mustard
Whisk dressing ingredients & chill.

Slivered Sugared Almonds:
In frying pan on medium, mix 1/2 c. sugar and 1 c slivered almonds. Stir constantly until sugar melts and almonds are coated. Cool on waxed paper.

To serve, mix greens, craisins, almonds and red onion. Add dressing just before serving.
