Ingredients:  
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 c Sour Milk (add 1 tsp vinegar to mil to make it sour)
1 tsp Baking Soda
tsp Baking Powder
tsp Salt
tsp Nutmeg
3 c Flour
3 tbsp Shortening (melted)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a large bowl and mix well
Roll out dough and cut out donuts with a donut cutter
Drop into hot grease
Flip once and cook over side
Remove from grease and cool
