1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup molasses
1 tsp. ginger
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. soda dissolved in 1/4 cup hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients. Drop on cookie sheet, and mash with fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.

Note: the soda with water makes a different flavor, and is not as good.
