2 1/4 C. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 C. shortening
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 C. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, then add dry ingredients and milk. Roll and cut. Sprinkle with sugar and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 for 12 minutes. Can be frosted with powdered sugar frosting also.
